She/Her

Brenna holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Brenna is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association. She has experience working with diverse populations spanning socio-economic status, cultural background, gender and sexual identity. Brenna started her counseling work in the US with non-profit organizations, including working with incarcerated women in the Allegheny County Jail. Since moving to Munich, Brenna has maintained a commitment to mental health accessibility as a core component of her new private practice. Brenna’s therapeutic approach can be described as person-centered, trauma-informed, emotive-based, multicultural and socially conscious. Brenna caters each therapeutic relationship to the client’s specific needs, comfort and specific style of healing and growth.

“I am deeply inspired by the depth of human experience. Each struggle and triumph in anyone’s story is a testament to their individual and unique courage to navigate the world around them. I think life is complicated and finding happiness and strength can sometimes be difficult, but I believe that a sense of empowerment can go a long way in facing life’s challenges. I have been drawn to counseling work to facilitate healing and growth in people that are struggling. I believe that everyone has the capacity to reach their fullest potential and that the collaborative, therapeutic relationship has the power to aid people in that process of discovery. Empathy and understanding are too often undervalued and overlooked, though counseling provides a unique space for these things to be cultivated and felt through completely non-judgmental, introspective healing. I believe counseling work can be essential to creating wellness, peace, empowerment and self-acceptance for many people.”
